About the Author
Kevin Dedmon's traveling ministry focuses on equipping, empowering, and activating the Church for supernatural evangelism through signs and wonders, healing, and the prophetic. He earned a Master's degree from Vanguard University, and has been in full-time ministry for more than 25 years. He and his wife are part of Bethel Church pastoral staff in Redding, CA.

Good mix of Scripture and application

Kevin talks about the need for us to live supernatural lives on a regular basis so that we ar naturally supernatural. Kevin looks at the Disciples' prayer and the implications of what they were speaking. He then explains to us the five different facets or aspect of God in scripture. The majority of the book focused rest; drinking and leaking; inhaling and exhaling; compassion; and preparing and partnering for a breakthrough.
Rest is not just lounging all day and doing nothing, but allowing God to work through us as we rest in Him. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. When we rest in Him, we no longer have to struggle or strive. We do our part and God does His.
Drinking and leaking does sound a little strange, but his understanding helps to make sense of all of it. He makes some generalizations of what it is to be drunk from alcohol and the effect on a person. He explains that when we are filled with the Holy Spirit (drinking) we do things that we would not normally do just like a person drunk with alcohol. And when we are filled with the Holy Spirit it tends to leak out onto other people and the effects could be healings or miracles.
In the Beginning, God spoke and created. Kevin explains to us that as we breath in and exhale we to can create. Our words can release healing or be prophetic We breath in the Holy Spirit and exhale or speak life into situations that seem impossible.
To release Heaven on earth we need compassion. Compassion is like a cloak or mantle that God gives to us. Compassion is caring for someone enough to move you to action. Through compassion God tells us that He wants to pour out His love on a particular person. Compassion moves us from feeling sorry for someone to actually doing something about their situation.
Preparing and partnering for a breakthrough - How hungry are you? How much can you eat? God is looking to partner in mighty ways with those who are hungry for more of Him. He has a smorgasboard prepared for those that are hunger to taste and see the goodness of God. If we are hungry we can stuff ourselves on what God has to offer. God is waiting for us to hunger after Him and partner with Him to change the world.

I'm Hungry:
July 3rd, 1997 I had an accident with a saw when I was ripping a 2x4 and it kicked back cutting a horizontal path across the top of my palm at the base of my 4 fingers severing all the tendons and cutting down to the bone. Three fingers were 100% repaired but my middle finger.
6 surgeries later I have no tendon in my middle finger and instead have a tiny tube from my wrist all the way up my hand to the tip of my middle finger in preparation for a new tendon. It always appears when I try to make a fist that I am flipping someone off.
My request:
Not only am I asking for you to pray/breathe Gods presence on my hand to restore my middle finger back to 100% use (which would require a new tendon and somehow the tube to disappear) but I would like the scars gone as well!
I wholeheartedly believe combined with my faith and your request of God, a miracle is going to happen and shake me to my very core and this miracle will be a stepping stone to a ministry for me.

Unlocking Heaven.

I love the confidence of certainty that God will do as asked in the healing realm, and makes me yearn for the fullness of the gift this writer speaks of. . Once again I am inspired by someone who attends the Bethel Church in Redding, California. It is leading me to want to travel there to experience this for myself, since we here in our little Church in Oregon are being blessed with His great love and healings also. We were privileged to have a couple. from Bend who traveled there and she experienced a healing of vertigo. An inspiring fun read.
